Reports to: Vice President, Supportive Housing (VP)
Salary: 25.71 per hour

Purpose of the Position:
The Housing Liaison/Coordinator is the principle liaison for the Division and manages all aspect of the n ew/ r enewal l eases Process and Property Management for Supportive Housing . The Housing Liaison/Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Supportive Housing .
Responsibilities:
Serve as liaison for Supportive H ousing issues and concerns.Ensure that W in is responsive to clients’ maintenance and repair issues, review reports and provid e follow-up as needed .
Serve as a liaison to ensur e the timeliness and accuracy of all new leases and all lease renewals for the Division’s apartments .
Provide the VP with appropriate information for all nonpayment of rent and legal issues. attorney on hold-over issues
Assist in the representation of W in on legal cases including hold-overs .
Review/reconcile monthly reports , invoices , rent collections, and other documentation related to Supportive Housing clients.
Participate in the Housing Committee meetings, preparing minutes and follow-up, as needed .
Prepare ad-hoc reports/analyses
Outreach to l andlords for apartment resources for the Division of Supportive Housing & Real Property .
Conduct follow-u p to ensur e landlords follow all city codes/regulations, regularly checking the Department of Building and Housing Preservation Department websites for violations and remain in compliance with all regulations.
Assist senior management in coordinating client satisfaction surveys and other client r eports .
Compile/analyze data from all sources for benchmarking for W in ’s senior management .
Coordinate activities and scheduling of meetings relating to clients’ leases including rent arrears and new lease agreements.
Convene the annual Supportive Housing Landlords’ Breakfast .
Develop Housing and Community Resources Manual s for clients and update as needed .
Ensure that rents are in line with the appropriate HUD FMR’s and referenced HUD grant budget year .
Monitor l andlords concerning lead abatement process, when apartments test positive .
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs in Supportive Housing locations .
Must attend housing meetings , trainings and visit Supportive Housing clients using public transportation .
Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree plus one (1) year of housing related experience required .
Must have knowledge of housing subsidies and supportive housing programs .
Must have the ability to network and build strong collaborative relationships with landlords .
Familiarity with entitlement s ystems , housing resources, and housing subsidies .
Knowledge of s trength-based case management, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed C are, f amily-centered case management, and boundary setting .
Experience working with at-risk, homelessness families.
Must be detailed orientated and demon strate an ability to multi task and respond to deadlines.
Must have e xcellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
