What You Will Do :
Guidehouse is engaged in projects with state and local agencies to provide policy, planning, and implementation support for federal and state funding programs focused on energy efficiency retrofits for homes and residential buildings.
In many cases these funding sources may be eligible sources for low-income multifamily properties, and may be utilized by affordable housing developers, public housing authorities, local housing agencies, and/or state housing agencies.
Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Public Sustainability segment who has combined experience and expertise in energy efficiency and affordable housing.
What You Will Need :
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on affordable housing and energy efficiency projects, financing, programs and/or policy.
Understanding and experience with established energy efficiency standards; energy financing programs; and energy and resilience assessments
Strong analytical skills, ability to research, analyze and synthesize data in a meaningful way.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and communicate regularly with project leadership and client points of contact.
Ability to work independently as required, with a strong commitment to team environment.
Ability to meet project milestones and delivery schedules.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Energy efficiency credential/certification such as LEED AP or EEP.
Experience with resilience measures.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
