Healthcare Investment Banking Associate (New York, NY) - Telecommuting Permissible. (multiple positions). Lead day-to-day transaction execution, client presentations, offering memoranda, internal committee memoranda, management and board presentations, pitch drafting as well as transaction marketing documents with direction and support from senior bankers. Coordinate business due diligence and originate and execute Healthcare and Life Sciences sell-side and buy-side M&A and capital markets transactions including Initial Public Offerings, Follow‐on Public Offerings, CMPOs, RDs, PIPEs and Private Placements. Conduct, review and facilitate development of financial models, valuation analyses and research. Liase with both internal and external parties (including corporate issuers, financial sponsors, legal counsel, among others) in order to expand corporate relationships and drive day-to-day deal process. Work closely with client personnel at levels up to and including C-level executives on mandated transactions. Support and drive new business and marketing initiatives including new client outreach and pipeline building. Support training and development of junior team members. Salary: $176,571 to $185,000 per year. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance or a related field, and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or a related investment banking position analyzing the healthcare industry. Also requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: 1) Using DealCloud, Pitchbook, Refinitiv, Bloomberg and BioMedTracker to conduct research, develop pitches and presentations, and execute upon transactions; 2) Performing financial statement analysis and valuation within the healthcare and life sciences industry; 3) Underwriting and placing equity and debt offerings for public and privately held companies; 4) Performing fundamental analysis of companies by analyzing industry trends and conditions in multiple sectors including healthcare industry; 5) Working closely with clients on mandated transactions.
