Job Description

Core Responsibilities
Liaise with DOB on policy issues and support internal cross-functional teams who's work is closely tied to Local Laws within DOBs portfolio.
Liaise with DCAS and DOT on policy issues and support internal cross-functional teams who's work is closely
aligns or relies on DCAS and DOT engagement.
Liaise with DEP on policy issues and support internal cross-functional teams focused on climate resiliency.
Liaise with SBS, DPR, DOT, and EDC on priority projects for both the Company and Agencies.
Participate in cross-functional brainstorms and strategy meetings with consultants and relevant team members.
Assist the Section Manager of Government Affairs, Director of Government & Community Relations, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs in preparation of responses to legislators, committees and agencies as needed.
Attend virtual and in person meetings and functions with city officials and their staffs.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and five years of related work experience in Government Affairs or Public Affairs.
Relevant Work Experience
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and implement new ideas and processes. Required
Experience drafting memos. Required
Excellent inter-personal skills. Required
Experience working cross-functionally within an organization on projects and key priorities. Preferred

Other Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
