Google Global Account Executive, Automotive in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 11 years of experience working in an advertising sales, business development, consulting, or online media environment.

  • 6 years of experience in Video Advertising

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with establishing joint business plans, and with video incentive programs.

  • Ability to lead executive conversations related to privacy, regulatory changes, and Google’s advertising and measurement solutions.

  • Ability to influence others internally and externally, with excellent negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, organize, and prioritize accordingly.

  • Knowledge of the TV, Streaming, and Video landscape with sales experience in YouTube and GMP products.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

In this role, you will work and collaborate with a team to ensure a seamless global connection and speed to market. You will serve as the clients' advocate within Google, while collaborating with other Google teams, to provide them with a scaled portfolio of solutions and options. You’ll build client relationships, lead global governance and coordination across markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy via a global JBP (joint business plan), inclusive of a global VIP (video incentive program), as well as scaling solutions with locally developed JBPs in collaboration with the Large Customer Sales team to drive business growth. You will engage with leaders, participate at events to establish Google as a trusted source, and build relationships.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000-$228,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify and enable opportunities to drive business growth for customers preparing for future changes in privacy regulation and the advertising ecosystem.

  • Interact with senior leaders to build trust, gain commitment, and progress difficult conversations, while maintaining strategic focus and executive presence.

  • Lead joint business plan development, account-level strategy, annual activation plans, and develop new and existing customer relationships to build business growth.

  • Collaborate with partner teams to align business goals to a consistent global strategy and execution, drive adoption of Google’s solutions, and build relationships with global client decision makers.

  • Use deep understanding of client's business, broad knowledge of advertising and the automotive industry, to identify and enable a mix of competitive short and longer-term opportunities to drive business growth for customers and prepare them for future changes in privacy regulation and the advertising ecosystem.
