ENTECH ENGINEERING, PC Geotechnical Project Engineer in New York, New York
(1)Analyze/design NYCDEP & NYCDDC geotechnical infrastructure projects according to design specifications/standards;(2)Undertake advanced analysis & feasibility evaluations for shallow/deep foundations; (3)Design/oversee construction of deep excavation support systems; (4)Provide expertise in structural design of earth support systems, including retaining structures, embedded wall systems, braced excavations & sheet pile/soil nail walls using dedicated software; (5)Utilize ground-improvement techniques to address foundation problems; (6)Prepare/execute foundation rehabilitation programs as part of infrastructure enhancement initiatives; (7)Oversee instrumentation monitoring & condition assessment programs for infrastructure; (8)Install sensors for infrastructure monitoring & conduct data analysis; (9)Produce pre-construction condition reports before commencement of construction activities.Req: MS in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering. Minimum 1-year experience on infrastructural design projects in NYC area. Must be familiar with NYC DEC, DEP & DOT's design specifications, AASHTO & Federal Highway Administration standards; Strong analytical skills in data & finite element programs; Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Python/ArcGis.
