Position Summary

The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, forecasting, financial reporting, billing, managing day to day financial operations, and other special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and G/L close activities
  • Participate in monthly close and ensure revenue, expenses and intercompany transactions are posted and or billed timely and accurately research and analyze current financial results
  • Coordinate with team to ensure timely and accurate client billing
  • Process and monitor vendor set ups and payments
  • Responsible for supplying timely, accurate, concise and complete financial data to Finance Manager and Senior Management
  • Anticipates and rapidly responds to assigned special projects
  • Assist in preparing monthly variance analysis reports with explanations for review by Finance Manager. Variances to be done against budget and prior year
  • Updating of internal reports to track revenue
  • Running time reports and providing reports to managers

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to work independently or on a team and be proactive
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product. He/she should also be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years' of related experience required
  • Advertising agency is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP and Hyperion a plus

Salary Range
$62,500-$70,000 USD
