The salary range for this role, based in New York is $108,200.00 to $135,200.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Finance Manager, A&P Business and Process plays a key role in the organization supporting one of the most essential cross functional activities in the company: A&P planning, execution, monitoring. Connecting Finance, Marketing and IT, as the A&P business and process owner, this role will focus on enhancing A&P system, simplifying A&P related processes, enhancing data quality to allow data-driven decisions and improve A&P efficiency and effectiveness.

Major Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance A&P system

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key teams: Marketing, Finance, IT but also Sales, accounting to control and prioritize enhancements based on business needs and teams roadblocks for a continuous A&P tool and data enhancement
  • Secure funds and resources for systems implementations, qualification, validation
  • Project manage enhancements development and testing to meet end-user needs and align with strategic intent
  • Own change management as it relates to enhancements and systems updates
  • Lead UAT testing on any enhancements
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure alignment on taxonomy and strategic intent and best practices

- Support A&P activities

  • Support Planning process by ensuring data quality and consistency with brand / market strategy
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all day to day A&P process related questions
  • Support business users by leading A&P Office Hours and trouble shoot issues
  • Own approval routes maintenance

- Documentation and Training

  • Maintain A&P documentation up-to-date
  • Ensure ongoing training of users and new hires on systems, governance and ways of working

Requirements

- Experience / Background:

  • 5+ years in finance FP&A, finance reporting or financial systems with demonstrated career progression
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • Experience in relationship management and driving improvement in process and ways of working, ideally in project management
  • Prior experience as subject matter expert for system implementation or enhancement (preferred)

- Skills:

  • High level of comfort with navigating and managing financial data
  • A true business partner, able to confidently interact with other department and understand / balance key priorities and needs of all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Good relationship building and communication skills; able to drive collaboration between teams
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office

  • Highly motivated with a "roll-up the sleeves and get the job done" mentality
  • Accountable and takes responsibility for own outputs
  • Team player

Estimated Travel

  • Limited - position is office based. 1-2 weeks per year as needed for seminars or company events
