Amalgamated Bank Facilities Assistant Manager in New York, New York
Amalgamated Bank seeks a Facilities Assistant Manager to assist the Director of Site Operations with coordination of Maintenance and General Services teams’ efforts to clear the Bank of extraneous materials (e.g. furniture, file cabinets, obsolete printed materials, etc.) in preparation for office relocations in 2025 and 2026; Provide guidance and consulation on facility improvements for all Bank locations.

Essential Job Functions:
Move prep for corporate HQ and Union Square branch locations
Assess stored materials at all New York City locations
Develop a plan for removal and disposal
Coordinate execution of removal and disposal plans by appropriate Site Operations teams and Facilities vendors
Review all Bank locations and provide recommendations of necessary improvement or update projects
Develop action plans for implementation of recommendations
Coordinate execution of the plans with appropriate Site Operations teams and Facilities vendors
Perform other duties as directed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
7-10 years of facilities and maintenance work experience
Building services vendor communication
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $58,500.00 – $70,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
