Robert Half Executive Secretaries and Administrative Assistants in New York, New York

Description We are providing an opportunity for an Executive Secretary or Administrative Assistant in the industry, situated in New York, New York, United States. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with a focus on customer service and communication skills within a workplace setting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and processing information with precision

• Delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions

• Exhibiting superior written and verbal communication abilities

• Demonstrating a high level of organization and responsiveness

• Supporting C-suite executives with administrative tasks as needed

• Managing customer inquiries and resolving them effectively

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions

• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in an Executive Secretary role or similar administrative position

• Proficiency in customer service, showcasing high levels of tact, discretion, and diplomacy

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with top-tier executives and other staff members

• Proven writing skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and other documents on behalf of executives

• Knowledge of office organization and optimization techniques

• High degree of multitasking and time management capability

• Proficiency in office software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

• Excellent planning and time management skills

• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations

• Up-to-date with current office technology, and computer software

• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

• High level verbal and written communications skills

• Discretion with personal and confidential information

• Understanding of office management systems and procedures

• Notary Public certification is a plus

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g., e-calendars and copy machines)

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Discretion and confidentiality

• High School degree; additional qualification as personal assistant would be considered an advantage TalentMatch®
