Amazon Executive Assistant, Marketing, Amazon Ads in New York, New York

Description

Amazon Ads is seeking a self-driven, highly organized, customer obsessed Executive Assistant to support 2-3 Directors in the Global Ads Marketing team. The right candidate will be motivated by helping their leaders and their teams operate with greater efficiency and who is interested in serving as part of a close-knit EA team supporting the broader Ads Marketing organization of 650+ employees worldwide.

This high impact, high visibility role requires outstanding planning and communication skills. The right candidate will have a strong bias for action and the ability to operate proactively and strategically, while anticipating needs. Impeccable attention to detail, good judgement, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams are critical to success.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is imperative. Humor, composure, and the ability to foster a fun and positive team environment is a must, as is flexibility and a willingness to turn on a dime as priorities shift.

This is a NYC based role requiring 5 days a week in-office.

Key job responsibilities

  • Complex calendar management and coordination of high-level internal and external meetings

  • Seamlessly manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, as well as expense reporting

  • Manage team space planning and onsite morale/team building activities

  • Partner closely and proactively with Finance, HR, Recruiting, and EAs throughout the Ads org

  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

  • Complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance

  • React with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Can quickly learn organizational structure, team objectives, and business leader’s priorities

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups including internal and external peers, partners, and senior leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
