Our client is seeking a P/T Event Coordinator to assist with an extensive roster of in-person and online public programming, outreach initiatives, and internal events (including academic lectures, conferences, lunchtime talks, and workshops).

Job Title: P/T Events Coordinator

We have an opening for a Part Time events coordinator. This person should be comfortable being on-campus for all the hours that they're needed. Duties will include: Events: ● Creating web-listings, registration pages, calendar invitations, Zoom sessions, e-blasts, programs, and other design items for events. ● Maintaining mailing lists and constituent records. ● Coordinating with IT staff, kitchen staff, facilities staff, security staff, moderators, speakers, and student workers to ensure proper staffing and support for events. ● Day-of management of in-person events, including supervision of check-in process, AV equipment, event production, and set-up and breakdown of food and beverages at receptions. ● Day-of management of online events, including setting up and monitoring Zoom, responding to guest inquiries, and troubleshooting tech problems. ● Supervising video-recording of events, managing post-event processing and captioning of videos, and posting of videos online. ● Photographing events, drafting news blog posts about events, and assisting with event-related social media campaigns. Administrative ● Managing email and phone inquiries for ISAW including event registration and responding to email and phone inquiries about events. ● Monitor space reservations for the building constituents and provide administrative support for building communications ● Occasional support for kitchen staff, for eg, catering pick up and set up/breakdown
