JPMorgan Chase Equity Derivative Sales - Analyst in New York, New York

The Equity Derivatives Sales Desk covers Institutional clients including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds and Endowments/Foundations for equity derivatives as well as cross-asset risk premia products.

As a Analyst on the Equity Derivatives Sales desk, you will be required to be both market and client facing. Your role here also requires execution, technical and market skills, a problem solving approach and ability to combine strategic analysis with tactical idea generation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support senior marketers in covering clients and in daily functions of the desk

  • Provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, assisting with the execution of client orders and providing clients with market intelligence and analysis

  • Assist in formulating, marketing and executing trade ideas

  • Help ensure smooth post trade execution process including accurate booking of risk, trade recaps and post trade enquiries

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong communication skills, analytical background and proficiency with excel

  • Candidates must be high energy, take initiative, and multi task in a fast paced trading desk environment, while paying attention to detail

  • Have strong intellectual curiosity, genuine interest in markets, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure

  • Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required for the role, but can be obtained after joining the team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of Python or VBA is preferred
