Actalent Environmental Scientist in New York, New York

TOP Leading Engineering Firm is seeking an Environmental Scientist, to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth with a full service Architecture & Engineering firm, that is looking to grow their environmental team in NYC!

Job Description:

  • Perform inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint and PCB

  • Prepare reports based on findings

  • Mold Assessments

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers

  • Create abatement/remediation construction documents

  • Prepare site-specific variance petitions

  • Review submittals and provide clarifications during construction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in Environmental Science

  • Experienced with Inspection and Remediation monitoring

  • Fully licensed with valid NYS DOL and NYC DEP Certifications and HAZMAT

  • Experienced with Environmental Inspections involving hazardous material

  • Experienced working on New York City Government Agency projects
