IKOS Consulting, Inc. Engineering Consultant - Sr.Quality Eng. in New York, New York
Developing and verifying that the appropriate design documents are used and determining resource requirements for each railway engineering project; consulting on electrical and civil construction and installations after inspection, such as excavations, trenching, concrete pouring, conduits, wiring, Antennas, CCTV, and fire alarms; reviewing and consulting on project plans, items and inputs, installation manuals, and maintenance manuals, and resolving technical issues in real time on-site; reviewing drawings, issuing and following-up on NCRs, and recommending modifications required; conducting Quality Assurance and Control, monitoring project progress, and ensuring all client and technical specifications, as well as federal, state, and local laws, are complied with; Authorizing work stoppages.
Must have a Master' Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar, plus two years of experience as a Quality Engineer for railway projects, and 18 months of Scheduling, Estimation, Subcontractor Coordination, CWPs,Design Management, Documents Control & Management; conducting Testing & Commissioning, Internal/ExternalAudits, Material Audit, Special and Hold Point Inspections, NCRs, QWPs, Quarterly Assessments, Monthly QualityReports; and of using ProjectWise, ClearQuest, SharePoint, Asite, Plantswift, Bluebeam, MS Office,AutoCAD, Civil 3D,STAAD Pro, Primavera P6, and MS Project.
Regular travel to client sites required in various states in the United States. Site visits range from 1-3 months, depending on project.

Salary range is $90,293-$120,000 per year.
