Work you'll do

As a Consultant , you'll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems strategies

  • Developing EPM system requirements

  • Designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions

  • Supporting system implementations

  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements with interest in mentoring junior staff

    The Team

Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability. As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance/Accounting or related discipline

  • Two plus years functional work experience and knowledge in financial process and systems

  • Two plus years of financial analysis working experience & skills

  • Strong oral and written presentation skills with advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements

  • Ability to translate process requirements into technology functionality

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $81,000 to $164,000.
