The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)/NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking an outstanding radiologist to lead our Division of Emergency Radiology.
This is a unique opportunity to build a growing division in a department known for clinical, research, and educational excellence. Reporting directly to the department Chair, the Division Chief of Emergency Radiology will oversee imaging throughout the CUIMC/NYP system and provide vision and leadership for a team of more than 15 radiologists.
The Division of Emergency Radiology at CUIMC/NYP oversees all aspects of diagnostic imaging for emergency department patients. We value our excellent collaborations with Columbia's world-class clinical teams, including Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the Trauma Service, as well as our other radiology department specialty sections. We also participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of a group of 32 excellent radiology residents who rotate through the division. The clinical schedule includes late afternoon, evening, weekend and overnight shifts, usually on a 7 day-on/14 day-off schedule.
We seek candidates with excellent communication and leadership skills. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated commitment to training and education are highly valued.
Salary range is $400,000 - $500,000. Columbia offers a generous benefits package.

Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Training and experience in neuroradiology required.
