PJT Partners Holdings LP seeks Director, PJT Park Hill Alternative Credit / Hedge Fund Team Project Management and Origination in New York, NY to advise a wide variety of alternative credit and hedge fund managers as one of the lead client-facing professionals on institutional fundraising strategies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related industry/occupation: possessing understanding of the broader financial industry preferably in the alternative asset industry; compiling, analyzing, and presenting market level data across a range of industries, sectors, geographies, and peers including general macro and microeconomic factors; utilizing Bloomberg Terminal and S&P Capital IQ to review company data, financial data, market data, project capital flows and performance metrics; assisting in business development activity to originate new clients and business opportunities; managing existing client relationships; budget forecasting, and preparing external presentations and reports; advising on the creation of marketing and presentation materials, internal reports, external data requests, and request for proposals; and maintaining detailed reporting or tracking tools on current and prospective clients using an organizational or CRM system such as Salesforce, Dealogic, DealCloud. Telecommuting and/or working from home on certain days may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Preferably have obtained the required certifications including FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, Series 7, and Series 63 required or ability to obtain shortly after joining. 20% international and domestic travel required.
