Zaelab Director or VP, Client Services in New York, New York

Zaelab is seeking an experienced VP or director-level leader to lead Client Services. This individual has a strong background in account management and the tech services industry. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in account management, client services, or business development, with a proven track record of expanding client accounts and driving revenue growth. Experience in selling complex enterprise deals ranging from $3-10 MM is essential. The right person will be a strong strategist and executive partner to our clients, helping them drive transformation within their business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients.

  • Drive Revenue with Cross-Selling and Up-Selling:

  • Identify and execute strategies to cross-sell and upsell services to existing clients, maximizing revenue potential.

  • Collaborate with service teams to tailor offerings to client needs and present compelling value propositions.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement account expansion strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify new business opportunities.

  • Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze client performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of expansion strategies, making adjustments as needed to achieve targets.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Foster a collaborative and client-focused team culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in account management, client services, or business development within the tech services industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully expanding client accounts and driving revenue growth.

  • Familiar selling complex enterprise deals in the $3-10 MM range.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and derive actionable insights to inform strategy.

  • Leadership:

  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams focused on client success and account growth.

  • Industry Knowledge:

  • Industry experience within Manufacturing, Healthcare, and High Tech organizations.

  • In-depth understanding of the B2B Commerce, CPQ services industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
