Position Summary:
Finance Business Partner for a L’Oreal USA Consumer Products Division brand that covers the Maybelline and Essie brands and a key member of their leadership team. This position is responsible for budget, trend, three-year plan and actual reporting of profit and loss results and accurate management of the balance sheet. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating/updating budget and trend documentation for presentation to senior management, long term strategic planning with Head of Marketing, and P&L scenarios for new/ discontinued/ promotional products, serving as the primary contact with the marketing teams and all division support groups concerning planning and reporting financial activities, and ensuring compliance of financial procedures as they relate to planning and reporting information/ activity.
Position Accountabilities:
Lead and manage a high performing team.
Influence and thought leadership across CPD
Direct the coordination and administration of assigned area’s annual business plan/ budget/trend and three-year Plan. Responsible for associated presentations to senior management.
Responsible for the preparation, analysis and transmission of a variety of divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements, i.e. budgets, balance sheets, budget spreads, P&L statements, and budget reporting.
Manage cost control and conduct budget meetings with departmental managers.
Primary support person for all finance related issues for operating departments.
Inform senior management and finance team about financial conditions within their assigned area as necessary.
Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects
Coordinate approval/ communication of reallocation of funds.
Liaison with project management/ manufacturing
Liaison with accounting for recording/ classification of activity.
Liaison with manufacturing relative to production plan/ division financial unit reconciliations.
Perform a variety of supervisory tasks including interviewing and selecting employees, employee training/ development, performance management, salary administration, etc.
Education/Experience:
10+ years of experience in finance or accounting required including supervisory/ management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration or Accounting required.
MBA/CPA preferred.
Consumer products industry experience preferred but not a requirement.
Skills:
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, leadership, oral and written communication and presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point. Power BI and visualization dashboards a plus
Financial reporting experience and use of SAP highly desirable.
Data analytics skills as a plus.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:
Salary Range: $138,500 - $200,800 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
