How will you make an impact in this role?

Director, Finance Data Governance - Metadata and Tools integration

As part of the Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Organization (FRQA) within Corporate Controllership, this role is responsible from bringing and managing data under governance for Finance. Finance Data Governance (FDG) team is leading the effort of defining the future roadmap for data governance within Finance. This director leads a team of professionals focused on ensuring that trusted information is used for critical processes, decision making and accounting/reporting across various finance processes. The team is responsible for validating Source Data from various AXP Systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. The FDG Director is a collaborator, a well-organized, action-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and time management skills, confident in presenting, facilitating, and building a network of strong relationships across our organization. Key Responsibilities:

· Bringing data under governance for the Finance organization by implementing requirements of the Enterprise Data Governance Policy within various critical Finance systems/processes.

· Serve as a liaison between Business/Functional areas and Technology to ensure that data related business requirements for governing critical data are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood/considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.

· Participate in all aspects of Data Governance specifically on development and maintenance of business glossary, data catalog and lineage.

· Lead the integration of Finance applications with various Data Governance tools.

· Leading a team of professionals with a focus on continuing to develop fintech skillsets for the future.

· Managing and responding to requests from Regulators and auditors on an as-needed basis.

Minimum qualifications:

· Advanced degree in Information systems or equivalent experience.

· 8 years of work experience, of which at least 3-5 years in metadata management.

· Demonstrated understanding of metadata practices such as data lineage, data dictionaries, business glossaries, data profiling, data quality rules, source system inventories, etc.

· Exceptional technical and data analysis skills with prior experience with SQL.

· Prior experience of data governance, metadata, and data lineage tools such as, Collibra, MANTA.

· Proven people leadership experience and ability to attract, engage and retain high caliber global talent.

· Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills with a proven track of positively collaborating, influencing, and extensively coordinating with internal and external partners.

· Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and strategically influence in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience of Finance, Banking, Insurance or similar industries is a strong plus.

· Demonstrated working knowledge of Agile methodology and delivery concepts or other project management methodologies.

· Excellent written and verbal communications with ability to communicate highly complex concepts and processes in simple terms and pragmatically across Finance, Business and Technology stakeholders.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
