Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in New York, New York
Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New York. This role is centered around providing technical support to attorneys and staff, ensuring the high level of consistency and reliability in the business by understanding our technology integration. It also involves working closely with IT and Managed Service Provider to secure firm systems.
Responsibilities:
• Offer technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to attorneys and staff.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our technology integration to ensure the high level of consistency and reliability in the business.
• Collaborate with the Director of IT and the Managed Service Provider to secure firm systems, including responding to cybersecurity alerts, network vulnerability alerts, and security incidents and breaches.
• Act as a subject matter expert in specialized legal applications and technology.
• Create and manage user accounts and security access.
• Handle the IT training program within the firm.
• Prepare necessary documentation for assigned projects.
• Communicate planned and unplanned outages (software, hardware, network) to the firm.
• Customize applications as directed by management to meet user specifications. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Active Directory
• Strong knowledge and experience with Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrated understanding of IT principles and applications
• Relevant certification or degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is preferred
• Willingness to continuously update skills as technology evolves
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes is a plus
