Amalgamated Bank Deposit Operations Support Manager in New York, New York
Amalgamated Bank is seeking an energetic Deposit Operations Support Supervisor to perform quality assurance of the customer and deposit account relationship, ensuring specified requirements are met in accordance to the Bank’s regulatory guidelines.
Purpose of Position:
Perform quality assurance of customer and deposit account relationship, ensuring specified requirements are met in accordance to the Bank’s regulatory guidelines.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage assigned projects and all facets of development, testing and implementation, for deposit related products and services and for operational efficiency.
Perform quality control review for new customers and new accounts, ensuring compliance to the Bank’s BSA guidelines.
Perform quality control review of deposit account maintenance
Support the branches, customer center and commercial banking departments in various operational and deposit related issues.
Manage employees/executives and directors confidential account relationship.
Oversee the daily operational functions in the Deposit Operations Department.
Liaise with IntraFi Network to coordinate changes to the Bank’s CDAR program and oversee the operational functions.
Maintain deposit rate indices in Horizon in accordance with SOX controls.
Perform testing and validation for various bank and branch system upgrade and Disaster Recovery exercises.
Liaise with internal audit and other agencies to gather and deliver required documents for branch related audits and examinations.
Provide oversight of the CardPro Program
Rotational coverage within Deposit Operation sub-divisions
Perform other duties as directed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of branch operations experience
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $70,000.00 – $80,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
