Bloomberg LP Data Specialist in New York, New York
Position Duties: Provide customers (both internal and external) with high-level customer service on all questions related to our real-time exchanges data. Lead projects to integrate new market data onto Bloomberg and improve existing content. Work closely with our clients, Sales, engineers, and 400+ exchanges across North & South America, to ensure the successful support and delivery of new exchange products to customers. Liaise with various internal teams such as Engineering, Product, Sales, Data to resolve problems. Improve data quality, onboard new content. Manage existing exchange data content. Drive process improvements, operational and workflow efficiency. Negotiate with stakeholders. Build a deep expertise in Global markets as it relates to how data is ingested, normalized, and distributed via Bloomberg suite. Act as a main point of contact and monitor data outages by providing support and guidance to resolution, as well as client communication. Invest time in client facing tools that improve self-service and knowledge of our customer base that help onboard and retain customers.Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Analyst or related. Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills: Experience with Market Data; Analytics and problem-solving; Project management; Communication, writing, presentation & organization; Documentation; and Excel.Rate of pay: $85,000 - $115,000 / year
