Job Title: Corporate Development ManagerWork Address: 405 Barretto Street, Bronx, NY 10474. May work remotely.Identify potential M&A (merger & acquisitions) targets, and assess their strategic fit. Conduct due diligence on target companies, including analyzing financials, operations, and risks. Develop financial models, including target company valuation and pro forma financial analysis. Lead the structuring, execution, and integration of strategic transactions, including providing recommendations on pro forma capital structure (equity vs. debt). Prepare materials with opportunity overviews and recommendations for presentation to management and the board of directors. Perform market research to identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations to management. Work with the company’s management and finance teams to understand their roadmaps and find suitable acquisition opportunities. Coordinate with legal, investment banking, and consulting professionals in order to originate and execute on relevant transactions. May work remotely.Requirements: Employer requires Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, such as an Associate, Analyst, Vice President, or alternate related acceptable occupation. Work or academic experience must have included: evaluating mergers & acquisitions, including synergy analysis, transaction structuring and strategic fit; financial analysis, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyouts, and mergers & acquisitions modeling; drafting of reports to provide recommendations on potential investments, and to identify risks associated with them; business and financial due diligence, including interactions with C-suite executives; data analysis, including the use of software such as Microsoft Excel to draw insights from large datasets; market research, including competitive analysis, market sizing, and trend analysis; and knowledge of accounting standards, including U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) as established by the FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board).Application Instructions: Submit resumes for Corporate Development Manager via email to careers@lobsterplace.com, referencing job title in subject line.
