ManpowerGroup Contract Event Coordinator (2 weeks) in New York, New York

Event Planner

Pay Range: $30-34hr

Duration 10/14/2024 thru 10/25/2024 (2 weeks)

Our client is seeking a Contract Event Planner for a two-week event

Responsibilities -Working on-site October 14 thru October 25 th .

October 14-18 th ( 9am-5pm) will report to 20 W. 43 rd Street r. The conference will be located at the Westin New York at Times Square , 270 West 43 rd Street. The conference begins on Sunday, October 20 th from 9am-6pm , Monday-Wednesday (October 21-23) 7am to 5pm , Thursday, October 24 th 7am-7pm, and then Friday, October 25 th from 7am-5pm.

Below are the responsibilities:

  • In office : Making copies, preparing name badges, assembling conference folders.

  • Onsite setup of the conference room and registration desk including transport of materials from onsite office to event room, distribution of hard copy materials, assisting in the organization of registration desk area.

  • Greet, check-in and provide name badges and course materials to conference attendees.

  • Throughout the day distribute and gather evaluations and hard copy materials at the start and end of each session.

  • Direct attendees to appropriate rooms for breakout sessions.

  • Monitor registration to help answer general questions and direct attendees to breakout rooms, when applicable.

  • Maintain an organized and stocked (brochures, pamphlets, pens, etc.) registration desk area.

  • Assist in collecting any materials left in the conference room at the end of the day, packing up registration desk for transport to the onsite office.

  • Business appropriate attire required
