Required Skills:

Content Designer Responsibilities:

  1. Work on the company’s mission critical feature, Avatars, centralizing content design efforts across Meta technologies (apps, software, hardware) to ensure collaboration and consistency.

  2. Support and bring more structured information to the Avatars experience.

  3. Drive the strategy for self-expression in the form of avatars (“digital humans”) by working closely with Product Design and Product Management to craft the vision for this product now and in the future.

  4. Help guide quality, consistency, integrity, safety and other issues related to communicating identity.

  5. Work with user experience researchers to find complex problems to create simple, easy-to-understand user bases.

  6. Design, write, edit, test and improve content that makes our Avatars products easier to use.

  7. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies and other content across Meta products and experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human-Centered Systems, Human-Centered Interaction Design, Content Design, or related field and 24 months of work experience in the job offered or in a content or strategy-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in the following:

    1. Scuba, Sketch or similar for design and data analysis
    1. User Interface content design including writing and designing content for web or mobile
    1. UX writing and communication
    1. Simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences
    1. Content tooling and/or front-end programming
    1. Psychological research methods, learning and motivation, or human behavior and performance
    1. Internationalization and localization of systems.

Public Compensation:

$253,377/year to $275,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
