T.Y. Lin International Construction Inspector Electrical (Assistant Resident Engineer) in New York, New York
Job Description: Monitor production, specification, installation activity, and contractor compliance of approved plans. Record work observed by completing and submitting a daily construction report in accordance with client procedures. Participate in review of finalized record drawing submitted by the contractor. Contribute information for daily manpower, materials, and equipment report, and weekly progress summary including photos. Contribute information for other reports including monthly technical and progress reports summarizing activities of the contractor and of the reorganization. Observe independent testing and monitor instrumentation readings. Provide support for installation of electrical conduits and cables for Lighting Systems, Public Announcement Systems, Customer Information Systems, Emergency Alarms, Fire Alarms, Security Systems, Elevators, Escalators and Fair Arrays. Provide support for installation of electrical panels. Provide support for installation of conduits and cables for train traction power distribution. Support the testing and commissioning of new electrical systems.Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.Experience: Five (5) years of experience in job offered, or Senior Engineer or Project Engineer, or in a related occupation.Academic training or work experience in the following:1. AutoCAD2. Micro Station3. Signal Interlocking Plan (SIP)4. Cable Core Plan (CCP)5. Station Working Rule Diagram (SWRD)
Minimum Salary: 140109 Maximum Salary: 175,900 Salary Unit: Yearly
