Description
Position Summary:
To manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio
Position Responsibilities:
New business development efforts and initiatives for the Bank
Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities
Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications and prepares presentment to Committee
Develop and maintains interest rate structure to be consistent with current market rates
Management of commercial customers; including customer retention efforts and client visits
Reviews new laws and regulations that influence business lending within the financial institution and makes recommendations to management when necessary
External networking
Past due follow-up
Essential Skills and Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent sales skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8 years experience in a similar role at a financial institution
Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures
Extensive knowledge of lending services and related areas
Commercial Credit Training/Analyzing Financial Statements Certification
Must have reliable transportation
Working knowledge of PC; specifically Excel, Word, Outlook
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
Preparation of monthly management reports
Maintain a neat and orderly work area
Performs other related duties as assigned

$160,000.00 to $240,00.00 USD
