From your PASSION to ours

The Assistant Director, Trade Management & Analytics has three primary roles.

Trade fund/financial/data analytics: Will develop processes and tools to analyze and guide the assigned business trade funds so that they are used most efficiently to achieve the assigned business/LAG objectives, and adhere to all corporate and regulatory guidelines. Analyzethe assigned business financials to optimize the top and bottom-line results. Responsible for accurate trade spending forecasts/reporting.

Assigned business systems and deduction management: Will ensure/challenge that assigned business has updated trade and price management systems. Responsible for Prism price list and deduction management.

Assigned business forecast accuracy: Working closely with assigned business VP/field sales and financial planning and analysis, support our challenge to provide accuracy in volume and trade forecasting.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Work with assigned business VP to develop overall trade fund GTMS aligned with company objectives, and effectively manage and analysis strategy implementation.

· Responsible for tracking progress of initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.

· Develop and nurture a strong relationship with all field sales managers and key brokers, specifically in the trade support functions.

· Demonstrate through active engagement with field sales how to apply processes to improve team focus and execution.

· Leverage existing trade tools to ensure accurate and effective reporting of dollars spent and accruals needed.

· Evaluate key sales tools for opportunities to integrate/leverage key processes in a more efficient manner:

· Trade management development;

· Trade and financial reporting tools;

· Opportunity tracking.

· Lead project management for any new system implementations related to the trade marketing team.

· Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach and develop the sales support team.

· Lead the trade marketing team to execute effective management of trade processes and systems.

· Manage the Prism price list and deductions.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required;

· MBA degree is preferred; or equivalent experience to include a minimum of ten (10) years job related experience.

Experience

· 10+ years management experience required.

· 10+ years related experience required.

· Experience in food industry preferred.

Specialized Knowledge

· CPG industry knowledge or sales.

Skills / Abilities

· Communication, organization and computer skills.

· Strong ability to use Excel.

Salary Description

$110,000 - $138,000
