Situated in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center on Columbia's Manhattanville campus, the state-of-the-art building offers an environment where the highest level of scholarly scientific research takes place on a daily basis, with the benefit of being located in the heart of New York, one of the world's most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
A lab within the Zuckerman Institute seeks an Associate Research Scientist (ARS) to facilitate research in understanding the neurobiology of the body-brain axis for immunity regulation. Responsibilities include designing experiments, carrying out complex behavioral experiments, and analyzing the data.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in imaging, performing behavioral experiments with mice, strong computational skills, as well as superior motivation, drive and demonstrated aptitude for research.
Minimum Qualifications: MD, PhD, or doctorate in related field
Preferred: Strong candidates will be interested and focused on interdisciplinary work.
