Job Description

We’re looking for an Associate Director of Marketing Communications to join our small team. You will work with the VP of Marketing Communications, and our Executive Committee as needed, to develop and execute communication initiatives to build our brand, shape and fuel our agency culture, and to attract and retain talent. You will report to the VP of Marketing Communications.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in office a week, with Monday a required day in office. If you are contacted for an interview, our recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and execute Publicis Collective’s social media strategy.

  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining Publicis Collective collateral.

  • Develop strategies and execute plans to enhance Collective’s reputation and visibility.

  • Advance and support internal communications and culture programs.

  • Play a significant role in Collective event development throughout the year including Cannes and CES.

  • Manage quarterly measurement and reporting to clearly demonstrate the impact of communications and brand marketing.

  • Provide hands-on media relations assistance including pitching features, profiles, and opinion pieces while building and nurturing relationships with targeted journalists.

  • Assist in identifying and securing speaker and panel opportunities.

  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders from across the business to build trust and demonstrate the value of communications.

  • Identify better ways to do things, constantly striving for excellence and efficiency.

  • Assist the team with additional projects and assignments as directed.

About the candidate:

You’re a thinker and a doer, a strong writer, highly organized with experience working in complex organizations or working in an agency environment. You’ll be a communications professional with lots of energy and ideas, natural gravitas, and a track record of developing and delivering strategies to achieve results. You’ll have a good news instinct, be able to identify opportunities, and come up with new ideas. You’ll have a strong interest in creativity, trends, and marketing. You’ll be driven by data and obsessed with delivering value for our team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field; media agency experience is a plus.

  • You must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and proactive – you are happy working independently and taking the lead, but also are a team player.

  • Organized, composed, and meticulous about meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to think on your feet, work in an agile manner, and adapt to evolving needs.

  • Excellent written English and a great communicator who loves storytelling.

  • Engaging, positive with an infectious enthusiasm, someone that people naturally gravitate to.

  • Experience writing executive presentations, summaries of industry news and POVs.

  • Ability to translate concepts into actionable communications strategy.

  • Digitally savvy and passionate about communications and marketing.

  • Corporate and b2b media relations and/or marketing experience a plus.

  • Passion for personal growth and professional development.

  • Must have a sense of humor and drive for excellence.

  • BA degree

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $144,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
