JPMorgan Chase Associate, Brand Partnerships Marketing in New York, New York

At J.P. Morgan, we recognize the importance of partnership marketing to both deepen relationships with our current clients as well as to drive awareness and consideration for our Payments products and solutions.

We are seeking a talented Partnership Marketing Associate to support the development and deployment of strategic marketing programs for our Payments business. The Associate will play a key role within the Payments Marketing Organization, helping unlock new sources of mutually beneficial value for our customers and supporting net new partnership initiatives that advance our organization's business and marketing goals.

Partnering with internal stakeholders, this role will work across the partnership marketing team's priorities, including customer marketing and advocacy, co-marketing, and sponsorships. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively balance multiple projects and prioritize against tight deadlines, lead stakeholders at varying levels across multiple lines of business within the firm, and support the creative and strategic development of campaigns based on a broad understanding of modern marketing mixes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports customer marketing activity

  • Proactively coordinating with internal teams including, sales, PR, events and other marketers to identify customer engagement opportunities

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to craft holistic, value-added marketing packages that integrate across the Payments Marketing organization activities

  • Partnering with channel leads to amplify the partnership across owned and paid media channels

  • Project managing the engagement initiative, including establishing a regular cadence of client, agency and internal stakeholder touchpoints

  • Drafting strategic documents (e.g. creative briefs, partner intake forms, co-marketing proposals)

  • Coordinating with agency partners in the development of creative assets

  • Supports special projects

  • Serves as the team's swiss army knife; supports new strategic co-marketing and sponsorship initiatives

  • Evaluating competitive landscape; supporting strategy development that aligns with Team priorities and Payments Marketing organization objectives

  • Project Management support, including creating standard or ad hoc reports and tracking

  • Sharing plans, goals, and objectives to senior stakeholders and partners for alignment

  • Drives the evolution and continual improvement of the internal marketing processes, including:

  • Connecting with stakeholders to understand and develop net-new processes and workflows

  • Organizing and maintaining the team's resources and activity trackers

  • Aggregating and distilling learnings and outcomes from marketing activity; developing recommendations for improvement

Qualifications :

  • Gifted storyteller and skilled communicator with the ability to persuade, both in writing and verbally

  • Understanding of internal, industry, and competitor trends to spark fresh ideas and drive cutting edge concept development in a changing marketplace

  • Experience in content development and creation, including developing creative briefs, reviewing proposals, overseeing production

  • Process-minded project manager with an eye towards developing and refining internal processes

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities

  • Ability to generate support from a wide-range of stakeholders and create a strong network of relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and occasionally with tight deadlines

  • A critical thinker with the ability to understand, dissect, and analyze information; identify pragmatic solutions to challenges and is capable of challenging the norm and making recommendations

  • Ability to facilitate effective meetings with subject matter experts and leadership

  • Integrated marketing and/or big brand experience is a plus

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related degree

  • Highly motivated with 2 - 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in technology or complex enterprise-level products or solutions
