Advertised Summary Job Description

Provides administrative and supervisory support for the Practice Manager, as necessary, on issues related to patient care, health care providers' concerns, and operational issues. Takes measures to correct situations or ensures appropriate personnel are involved in conjunction or with guidance from the Practice Manager. In the absence of the Practice Manager, directs the activities of the all staff with authority to discipline and make decisions. Assists in coordination with other key management leaders in overseeing scheduling as it relates to IDX and patient flow. Covers staff vacations/calls for front desk and/or check out staff; provides administrative support to physicians' clinical sessions and oversees chart preparation, when needed. Assists with ordering of office supplies, payroll, technological issues, and facilities management. Performs daily review of time of service payments and sign off. With direction from the Practice Manager, trains and tracks team productivity and HR policy and procedures. Other miscellaneous duties, when needed.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

3 years of related supervisory experience in a clinical office setting. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with exceptional judgment and discretion; Capability to set priorities, handles multiple assignments, and efficiency in a highly pressured environment is required. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to work well with all levels of employees, be flexible in nature, and have sound judgment with an open and collaborative style that encourages teamwork. Must have a passion for excellent customer service and commitment to exceptional quality.
