Veralto Aquatic Informatics (AQI) - Strategic Account Manager in New York, New York
Job Summary:
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for finding, establishing and growing the most strategic high growth potential customers in the North America AQI SaaS portfolio. This requires a fundamental understanding of complex customer organizations and then developing and building relationships with key stakeholders, especially C level suite leadership. The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) has the ability to collaborate internally with employees in a number of departments (Finance, DevOps, Professional Services, Marketing) to organize and eventually win large, complex contracts with customers.
This position is part of the North America Sales Organization at Aquatic Informatics located in the US and will be remote . Travel throughout North America (U.S. and Canada) is expected to be around 30%.
Essential Functions:
Generate new opportunities, acquire new customers and build stronger relationships with assigned accounts.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of software products and possible use cases to help advise customers understand potential uses for products. Clearly articulate the strength and value of AQI products as they relate to key markets/industries.
Strategically manage key accounts to maximize revenue growth and client retention.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through frequent contact including on-site visits to customer plants/sites.
Develop bids and proposals working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively win contracts.
Meet and exceed annual growth and retention goals.
Collaborate across the organization (Marketing, DevOps, Professional Services, Client Support) for both proposal and bid development.
Drive the sales process to successful conclusion coordinating with Sales Ops, Finance and Implementation.
Are you qualified?:
Post-secondary degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Degree in engineering, technology or related subjects a plus.
6+ years of experience in enterprise or environmental/water industry sales and account management with frequent interaction at C-Suite level.
Experience with SalesForce is a plus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
