JOB DUTIES:1. Ensure that investment research is published as required in a timely manner by resolving any technical obstacles with our research, authoring and publishing software and related systems.2. Work directly with our technical support and development teams to provide technical support for our Barclays Research analysts and editorial/production staff on a daily basis3. Responsible for stakeholder management and leadership, working as part of a global team in regular collaboration with global members.4. Monitoring the state of key software systems and taking steps to remediate observed issues.5. Work on expanding the Barclays application by programming new features and fixing existing vulnerabilities.6. Responsible for improving system reliability by increasing coverage and quality of testing.7. Responsible for implementing testing software solutions for research technology across Barclays.8. May telecommute.REQUIREMENTS:Employer will accept· A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, English or related field· Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.Alternatively, employer will accept:· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, English or related field· Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.RATE OF PAY: $170,500 - $187,550 / per year. The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate.
