Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to be based in New York, NY.

This position is expected to begin in May or June 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform financial, economic, and qualitative data collection and analyses of a variety of projects and programs across Energy.

  • Create reports and presentations in both Excel and PowerPoint and perform various analytic tasks to support business/financial planning.

  • Responsible for collecting data and preparing various forecasts on key projects.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial metrics on Energy projects.

  • Monitor the status of projects and programs, with the ability to understand their relationship and potential impacts to both operational and financial performance.

  • Work directly with the national business line senior management team assisting in the support of business development and operations management.

  • Development and learning of AECOM’s internal project management and financial tools and software.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering principle, or a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or experience related to the Energy market, Climate Change, Sustainability and/or Resiliency is a plus.

  • Energy project financial knowledge and analysis a plus.

  • Some relevant work experience related to Energy, Engineering or Construction is preferred.

  • Client facing experience preferred.

  • Sponsorship is available for this position.

  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $80,000.00 - $82,000.00.
