ManpowerGroup Accounts Payable Associate in New York, New York
Our client is seeking a an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team.
Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate
Location : Chester, NY
Onsite: 5 days
Contract - Hire
Pay: $19/hr
Position Responsibilities :
Responsible for entering Miscellaneous invoices into Oracle; verify that all contain coding & proper signatures
Process automated invoices (Programming, Franchise Fees, Rents, Install & DSR invoicing)
Audit & approve invoices through 3rd party application
Audit and approve of all employee expense reports; answer inquiries from internal employees
Verify new vendors on IRS site before entering into ERP system. Update remittance addresses, change of addresses, and updating COI’s
Open, date stamp and distribute invoices received via daily USPS, FedEx & UPS. Create FedEx labels for outgoing checks, organize, file, box up and record of all checks and reports
Investigate various problems related to invoices and resolve the issues so that the invoices can be entered and paid in a timely fashion
Responsible for scanning in Docuware and indexing of all checks and invoices for electronic storage
Enter all cash disbursement wires
Work with vendors to reconcile aging statements and answer/respond to any email inquiries from vendors
Work with vendors to make payments via American Express
Position Requirements :
High School diploma is required, Associates Degree is preferred
2 years' experience in Accounts Payable preferred
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
Ability to work both independently and as a team
Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Close attention to detail
