Manhattan based client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team in the entertainment industry. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial statements, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Develop and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors for annual audits.

• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.

• Support senior management in strategic financial planning and analysis.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in auditing and month-end close processes

• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Expertise in financial reporting

• Knowledge of IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
