New York University 2025 - 2026 Open Rank Clinical Professor of Management Communication (full-time, non tenure-track): Undergrad and MBA Core Courses in New York, New York
NYU's Leonard Stern School of Business is currently seeking full time continuing contract faculty positions within the Management Communication Program.
Appointment: One year for the Academic Year 2025-26 with reappointment potential depending on performance and in accordance with NYU Stern policy.
This faculty position encompasses teaching multiple courses within the department’s core course portfolio: Organizational Communication and its Social Context for Stern’s undergraduate program, Strategic Communication for the part-time MBA program, and Coaching for Impact for the full-time MBA program. In addition, there may be opportunities to teach various MBA electives. Scheduling may include summer and winter sessions, as well as remote and in-person delivery across global time zones. Inherent in this contractual position is a service requirement to contribute to the Department or School through activities that support its educational mission and culture.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor $70,000-$110,000
Clinical Associate Professor $78,000-$118,000
Clinical Professor $85,000-$125,000
This pay range represents base pay only (12 months) and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Candidates are expected to show outstanding pedagogical skills or talent, and insights drawn from business experience and expertise in Corporate Communication management. The successful candidates should have a track record of excellent teaching and developing innovative curriculum.
Management Communication Program
The MCOM program is required in all degree programs. All courses focus on preparing students to strategically manage the communication tasks and responsibilities they will encounter in a dynamic global business environment. As a result, students acquire managerial, organizational, and interpersonal communication competencies that result in enhanced leadership capabilities.

Evidence of outstanding teaching in managerial communication-related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Ability to incorporate direct business experience in all courses
Relevant graduate degree
Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s degree.
A candidate for a full-time clinical appointment must present evidence of appropriate education and teaching experience in a field relevant to the appointment and/or a distinguished career as a practitioner. Candidates are expected to show outstanding pedagogical skills or talent, as evidenced by past teaching performance, curriculum development and teaching innovation, or expertise in an area of strategic importance that is not otherwise available on the faculty.
