Job Description

The Product Manager in our NE Region is a member of the Strategy & Design team. This individual reports to the NE Region Practice Manager for Strategy and Design, and engages with clients to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by leading the product development process of a project or program, and communicating with key internal and client-facing stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

The Insight Digital Innovation team is growing rapidly and we are looking for someone to actively engage with clients and internal teams to facilitate discovery sessions,uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements. The Product Manager will have experience engaging with clients in requirements discovery, analysis, definition, and management. They will both support ongoing projects as well as new business.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner to represent and understand the client’s business needs

  • Act as BA toperform requirements analysis, translate and simplify requirements as needed

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance and operations to translate business goals into unique brand and product experiences

  • Elicit, prioritize and document use cases and acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.

  • Help facilitate Product Strategy and Design sessions to determine and prioritize stakeholder personas, business needs, and areas of opportunity

  • Work with the PMO (Project Management Organization) to plan the program and develop effective monitoring

  • Support the delivery team throughout the engagement via backlog grooming and sprint planning

  • Have the ability to keep up with new creative technologies and analyze new trends and data

  • Building and managing relationships with clients and teammates

  • Contribute to the Strategy & Design practice development by participating in industry events, blogging on topics of interest, and holding internal lunch-n-learns


  • 5-7+ years’ experience leading product development, in-house or in an agency, consultancy, or other professional setting

  • Experience conducting workshops, with market-tested activities for persona development, pain point documentation and use case prioritization

  • Experience leading requirements discovery, definition, and analysis in an agency, consultancy, or other professional setting

  • BA in Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent degree of studies

  • Agile training and certification a plus

  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and client-facing presence is a must

  • Passion for working as part of a high-performance team and community involvement

  • Experience working in a rapid, collaborative environment helpful
