About the role

The Real Estate Advisory, Senior Analyst works with the CBRE Americas Agile Practice team to provide Advisory tools and solutions in support of large, complex flexible office transactions and portfolio strategies. The role will also actively support Agile Practice business development effort. The team works with tenants looking to balance long-term and short-term real estate commitments by adding flexibility into their global portfolios using flexible office space from third party Flex Office Providers (e.g. WeWork, Regus, Industrious, etc.). The team’s background in management consulting, advanced analytics and brokerage gives them a unique perspective and approach to solving complicated business and real estate problems. This is a hybrid role based in NY City.

What you’ll do

  • Consulting, Financial and Quantitative Modeling –. Oversee all RE financial analysis for client projects and pursuits. Maintain and improve existing portfolio diagnostic tools. Oversee and manage workflow and outputs of data analysts and data scientist in India. As needed, build stochastic/time series models and apply the models to real estate decision making. Stress-test the models with simulation and optimization tools.

  • Client Advisory Projects – Support the team’s consulting engagements throughout the complete consulting lifecycle, from proposal, to delivery to final business case presentation. Work with client and team in framing the problem, developing options and solutions and communicating results to the client. Proactively manage project tasks, timeline and budget.

  • Business development support – Support Agile leadership team in business development effort, which includes conducting preliminary analysis, presentations creations. Work closely with the Agile Leadership to update services, materials and Go-to-Market strategy as needed based on client/account feedback and market trends evolution. Support the team in educating various CBRE constituents, including but not limited to market leaders, offices, brokers, practice groups, Account QBRs, etc. on our services, market trends and other Agile developments.

  • Tech Platform Development Oversight – Oversee our Digital and Technology team in the development of our proprietary Agile Technology platform.

  • Research and Development - Support specific data and research projects and efforts to improve the current methodologies being used to analyze real estate decisions. These could include development of new analytical tools, exploratory analyses, thought leadership topics, support of advanced predictive analyses, etc.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. 3-5 years of related work experience preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Real Estate Sr Analyst position is $100,000 annually or $48.08 per hour and the maximum salary for the Real Estate Sr Analyst position is $120,000 annually or $57.69 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
