Overview
The main function of the U.S. Information Security & Control (IS&C) Risk Reporting Manager is to plan, coordinate, develop, and clearly present complex information security risk information to executive leadership. This individual is responsible for communicating findings and supporting the reporting and communication of the organization’s cybersecurity and technology risk strategy to key stakeholders. By ensuring that risk information is accurately conveyed, the IS&C Risk Reporting Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s security posture and strategic risk management.
Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Information Security & Control (IS&C) in the U.S. region by planning, coordinating, and presenting complex cybersecurity risk information to executive leadership. Ensures that individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in alignment with the team’s business strategies and objectives. Communicates issues and supports the reporting and communication of the organization’s cybersecurity and technology risk strategy to key stakeholders. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
What You’ll Do
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations that visually communicate key messages and insights, incorporating storytelling techniques to engage and captivate internal and external audiences
Synthesize complex data into consumable and easy to digest presentations, charts, and infographics.
Assess and evaluate existing presentations to implement and recommend improvements.
Be able to gather reference and notes quickly, track action items and follow-up tasks, and provide timely updates to team members and stakeholders as needed.
Utilize strong business writing skills to draft and edit various documents, reports, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in analyzing transcript reports and summarizing findings into comprehensive reports
Assist with cybersecurity and IT tasks as assigned, including managing risk tracker, and reviewing cybersecurity related articles and framework.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and meet deadlines.
Able to work independently to problem solve while also collaborating with a team for collaboration.
Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity and IT policies, procedures, and best practices, contributing to process improvement initiatives and organizational efficiency.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
2+ years expert knowledge with Data Analytics and implementing graphics and multimedia within PowerPoints.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, excel, and other relevant software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated creativity and storytelling prowess, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks and deliverables.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Motivated for advance in the cybersecurity and risk field.
