Google Senior Multimedia System Architect, Silicon in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in multimedia technologies, including imaging and vision pipeline in silicon development.
3 years of experience in Image Signal Processing (ISP), computer vision or computational photography algorithm.
1 year of experience in machine learning on hardware acceleration.
Preferred qualifications:
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of experience in multimedia technologies, including imaging and pipeline in silicon development.
3 years of experience in machine learning hardware architecture and software infrastructure.
Experience developing hardware IP or system level silicon architecture plan.
Understanding of machine learning or image/video/display processing algorithms for photography applications.

In this role, you will design and build the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google's services. You will design and build the systems that are important in the world's largest computing infrastructure. You develop from the levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to volume manufacturing. Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our data centers affecting millions of Google users.
You will develop new hardware architectures for hardware-accelerated image/video/display use cases. You will work on topics that span areas of image processing, digital imaging, computer vision, computational photography, and machine intelligence. You will develop and specify optimized architectures for current and future generation products. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to build and test the best hardware architectures to process images/videos/display for applications including digital photography and machine intelligence.

Design and develop multimedia systems relevant to imaging, video, and display pipelines for hardware implementations.
Evaluate the architectural design and algorithms for digital photography, computer vision, machine intelligence scenarios.
Design, define and specify computer vision and image and video processing Internet Protocol (IP). Author hardware specifications for efficient and practical implementation.
Collaborate with other architects to create optimized and innovative solutions including video, image processing and machine intelligence experiences.
Work with a variety of stakeholders, including product managers, algorithm developers, and software teams to create immersive and engaging user experiences.
