Job Description:
EHS lead for Office-based and field staff across Australia and New Zealand. The role includes:
Coordination of EHS compliance and legal requirements implementation across ANZ.
Workers Compensation coordination and return to work across ANZ, including self-insurance in NSW.
Support to develop site EHS culture, promote the awareness of EHS.
Lead ergonomics program implementation across ANZ.
Support and achieve EHS goals and programs.
Ensure EHS management system and EHS standard implementation and improvement of EHS performance.
Support site EHS relevant improvement projects.
Development and deliver necessary EHS training for relevant audiences.
Completing the draft of the SIRA annual submission and business plan, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
A ttend monthly one-on-one meetings and data quality reviews conducted by SIRA
Qualification
Experienced environmental, health and safety advisor.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an EHS role.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Self-insured workers compensation.
PC literacy with Microsoft Office application (eg Typing, email, Spreadsheets, 3M IT platforms).
Return to Work Coordinator certification.
Internal auditor certification to ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
Hazardous substance management.
Job type: Regular
