Crescent City Schools 2024-2025 School Director of Finance and Operations in New Orleans, Louisiana

The Director of Finance & Operations impacts students’ lives by:

  • Managing the day-to-day non-instructional operations of the school, including food services, transportation, technology, health and safety, front office operations, events coordination, facilities, and data management

  • Managing the school operations team, including data manager, transportation manager, tech coordinator, office manager, facilities manager, nurse, kitchen manager, and custodial staff, and supporting their growth while holding them accountable for achieving school goals

  • Working in partnership with the Crescent City Schools Director of Finance and Manager of Payroll & Compliance to ensure payroll information, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and accounting data are up to date and correct

  • Managing school spending; maintaining financial and operational record-keeping

  • Managing all facilities, including vendors, contract management, maintenance and repair, and custodial

  • Working with the Crescent City Schools COO and School Principal on the annual budgeting process 

  • Managing vendor and external partner relationships

  • Managing the procurement process for all materials and supplies within the school

  • Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school

  • Have demonstrated success in managing people with diverse job responsibilities and varied levels of experience

  • Are extremely detail-oriented

  • Possess a strong customer service mentality

    Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • This is an in-person role
