AKM Construction Services Corp Senior Project Manager- Mechanical in NEW HYDE PARK, New York
Senior Project Manager- Mechanical (New Hyde Park, NY) - Manage large-scale mechanical projects including HVAC systems and energy saving projects using Procore, Auto CAD, OSHA & DOB regulations; Monitor operations for engineering standard, productivity and efficiency applying risk management, Six Sigma & ISO standards, PMP; Review project plans & engineering drawings, and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams for staff, workers, and clients; Analyze and negotiate revisions on mechanical designs based on sound engineering and cost-benefit analyses; Analyze process documents to determine mechanical engineering and sustainable construction methods; Support safety performance through the design of ergonomic solutions for different operations, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes; Optimize project efficiency using Six Sigma DMAIC methodology; Develop and implement quality control programs, process improvements and technological upgrades in compliance with mechanical project technical specifications, engineering design and relevant code and regulations. Must have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering plus skills and knowledge in Auto CAD, Procore, Six Sigma/ISO standards, Risk Management, PMP.
