Robert Half Payroll Specialist in New Hope, Minnesota
Description
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in the service industry, located in New Hope, Minnesota. As a Payroll Specialist, your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain our payroll data and records. You will also be tasked with resolving any payroll-related inquiries and issues. Responsibilities:
• Process payroll data entries accurately and efficiently
• Keep payroll records up-to-date
• Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees
• Become familiar with FLSA, overtime calculation, and time card adjustments
• Manage garnishments and child support related cases
• Use Excel for VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
• Manage off-cycle payroll for less than 20 people, offering 2x week on-demand payment
• Validate and compare hours entered in different systems, look at exception lists
• Manage data entry and respond to notices, garnishment work
• Display empathy and understanding when dealing with employees in the restaurant operations.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Extensive knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
• Experience with Dayforce
• Competency in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
