Job Description
We are seeking motivated mechanics to service balers, compactors, and industrial equipment. This position involves performing repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment. The role typically includes working on hydraulics, basic electrical operations, and welding fabrication to maximize safe and productive operations.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections, conduct diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various types of compactors and other stationary equipment.
Read electrical schematics and diagnose and repair electrical problems on equipment using both single and three-phase AC voltage.
Read hydraulic schematics and diagnose and repair hydraulic issues on equipment.
Complete paperwork and/or enter data associated with repairing relevant equipment accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
Work Environment
You will drive a company truck around a five-state area, averaging 100 miles a day and 2-3 hours of driving. You will pick up the vehicle from the shop and drop it off at night. Company is based out of New Hope, MN
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
