Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in New Holland, Pennsylvania

Description

This position plays a critical role in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and cost management across key business areas. Core focus areas are enhancing visibility into financial performance, driving profitable growth through insights, assisting business stakeholders with an analytic-driven approach and analysis, and providing cross-functional coordination on critical planning and reporting processes. It focuses on providing dependable data, identifying improvement areas, and presenting actionable insights to guide strategic decisions on costs, growth opportunities and sound financial management.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare reports and analytics on company financial performance and profitability.

  • Support overall budgeting and planning processes and analyze the financial data needed in fiscal and budgetary planning.

  • Analyze monthly results against previous year and budget.

  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of data systems.

  • Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy and consistency.

  • Assist with month end close and analysis of financial results

  • Assist with detail requests for financial information.

  • Responsible for data collection, report generation, and modeling.

  • Develop financial models and analytical tools.

  • Support and maintain daily/weekly/monthly dashboard metrics

· Support requests for information and perform ad hoc analysis

· Drive accountability and ownership for non-technical structure spend control

· Progress tracking as well as reporting and analysis related to the Group’s internal audit and control projects

· Assist with calculation and support for broker commissions

· Provide analysis and support on capital expenditure requests

Requirements

  1. Requires a four-year college degree with a major in Business Administration or equivalent.

  2. Four plus years of financial analyst experience.

  • Ability to analyze and work with large quantities of financial information.

  • Interact effectively with cross functional teams and internal department staff.

  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.

  • Experience with ERP system

  • Microsoft applications including advanced Excel.
